Freedom Trail: Small Group Tour of Revolutionary Boston (2.5 Hours)

Overview
Boston's principal role in launching the American Revolution is linked by the brick-lined Freedom Trail. This world-famous pedestrian path is best experienced on foot, in a small group, with a knowledgeable local guide! This 2.5-hour tour travels the trail from Boston Common to Copp's Hill Terrace, providing guests a chance to see ALL SIXTEEN official landmarks on the Freedom Trail.

Our small-group walking tour delves deeply into the years 1760 to 1776, the tumultuous years leading into the American Revolution. We walk in the footsteps of Colonial Bostonians, all of whom grappled with the difficult—yet essential—question of loyalty or rebellion to crown and country.

With a captivating storytelling approach, Hub Town Tours provides the perfect introduction to Boston's status as America's "Cradle of Liberty." As we travel past historic landmarks from Revolutionary Boston, your guide shares the gripping story of a small colonial town careening toward war with a global empire.

If you are planning doing a tour of the freedom trail, I highly recommend doing this tour! I started of with the "Rebellion" part first. I was lucky enough beeing the only one doing the tour, so it was only me and Ted. Ted is extremely nice and knowledgeable! He went above and beyond. Not only doing the tour, but also helping, and coming with recommendations of other attractions and things to do in Boston. I was so happy with the tour, that in the end, I booked a second tour with him the day after (doing the first part of the tour). The second tour was just as good as the first tour I did, if not better! In short, if you are in Boston and you are thinking of doing a tour of the freedom trail; this is absolutely the tour you should do. Nice guide, with an extreme passion for history, and will answer any question you might have about the American revolution.

Thank you so much for coming along on both my downtown tour chapters, "Resistance" and "Rebellion"! The smaller the group, the more fun the tour for me as a guide, so it was a joy sharing my city's history with you. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your visit stateside and safe travels, Skjalg!

Besides having a great name, Ted does a fantastic job bringing history to life in this tour. His knowledge and insistence on avoiding revisionist history was impressive. Seriously, you’ll love this tour! Ted Herring

From one Ted to another: thank you! Perhaps this is revisionist of me, but I had an awesome time with you on Ted and Ted's Excellent Adventure...along the Freedom Trail. All my best!
