Freedom Trail: Small Group Tour of Revolutionary Boston (2.5 Hours)

Overview
Boston's principal role in launching the American Revolution is linked by the brick-lined Freedom Trail. This world-famous pedestrian path is best experienced on foot, in a small group, with a knowledgeable local guide! This 2.5-hour tour travels the trail from Boston Common to Copp's Hill Terrace, providing guests a chance to see ALL SIXTEEN official landmarks on the Freedom Trail.

Our small-group walking tour delves deeply into the years 1760 to 1776, the tumultuous years leading into the American Revolution. We walk in the footsteps of Colonial Bostonians, all of whom grappled with the difficult—yet essential—question of loyalty or rebellion to crown and country.

With a captivating storytelling approach, Hub Town Tours provides the perfect introduction to Boston's status as America's "Cradle of Liberty." As we travel past historic landmarks from Revolutionary Boston, your guide shares the gripping story of a small colonial town careening toward war with a global empire.

I have booked several tours with viator and was pleased. However I was very disappointed in the customer service. I was planning to attend this tour with a couple of my friends. One of the girls traveling with us became sick and we ended up testing her for covid and she came back positive. We tried to do the right thing and avoid exposure by not showing up to our tour. I had called customer service in hopes of a refund and was declined. I am aware that this booking was nonrefundable. However, I would have thought there would be exceptions due to unfortunate circumstances.

I'm very sorry to hear about your friend's illness, Ashley—wishing her a speedy recovery! We fully agree that this is an unfortunate circumstance, and not one anyone would want to deal with while traveling. Please note that when you book an activity through Viator, you're actually booking an experience provided by a local operator like Hub Town Tours. As such, we are a small business that simply adheres to Viator's standardized cancellation policy: All tickets are FULLY refundable when canceled at least 24 hours in advance. As you state, you're aware this booking was nonrefundable with less than 24 hours notice. While we cannot cancel your booking, we'd be happy to honor your tickets on a future date. Please contact us directly via email at [email protected] when you'd like to reschedule.

This was an excellent Freedom Trail tour. I considered a few different ones. Happy I settled on this one. Our guide, Drew was excellent. Super knowledgeable, friendly, answered questions as they came up, and added great detail. It was helpful to have a small group. Seems you get more out of it that way. This is a 2-1/2 hour tour. We had age ranges from approximately 30-80. Everyone was able to keep up. We highly recommend this tour.

Sarah brought the history of the Sons of Liberty to life in an interesting, informative and lucid manner. Despite being unfortunate enough to hit random noises at every turn! We don’t often resort to guided tours but this is highly recommended
