This world-famous pedestrian path is best experienced on foot, in a small group, with a knowledgeable local guide! This 2.5-hour tour travels the trail from Boston Common to Copp's Hill Terrace, providing guests a chance to see ALL SIXTEEN official landmarks on the Freedom Trail.

Our small-group walking tour delves deeply into the years 1760 to 1776, the tumultuous years leading into the American Revolution. We walk in the footsteps of Colonial Bostonians, all of whom grappled with the difficult—yet essential—question of loyalty or rebellion to crown and country.

Our tour guide, Matthew, was wonderful!! He was so full of information - real and corrections of American myths, delivered with great humor. Very personable. Full of ideas for things to do after the tour and dining ideas , too.

Our guide Mathew was excellent. I’ve been on a lot of tours and he’s been one of the best. Extremely knowledgeable, brought the stories to life, and had no trouble projecting his voice in crowds. He was also fun and entertaining. It was an experience I won’t forget! I learned a ton and had fun doing it. The small sized group was an added bonus of this tour (no more than 16 people in a group which keeps it more personal). I HIGHLY recommend this tour but especially a tour with Mathew

Nick was amazing! He told it as a story leading up to the battle. One of the best tours I’ve taken in our country! It got me riled up to do all the other tours related to how we began our country by fighting to govern ourselves. Grateful for the sons of liberty! God Bless America!
