Had a terrific experience with Sidewalk Food Tours! We met Lisa at the starting point, she explained what we would be doing and we started with our 1st restaurant. The food she selected at each restaurant was amazing and she did a very good job of explaining the history of the food. She was also very knowledgeable about the history of the French Quarter and Louisiana in general. It was a very pleasant, relaxed tour. I would recommend this to anyone visiting NOLA.

We had a fantastic French Quarter food tour with Lisa. She was so interesting and informative. Our kids (11-year old boys) wanted to give her 6 stars. We learned a lot about New Orleans and the food and had a great time.

Thank you so much for the glowing 5-star review of our French Quarter food tour with Lisa. It brings a smile to our faces that you thought she was "so interesting and informative." Come eat with us on The Lower Garden District the next time you're in New Orleans.

Our guide was late which wasn’t a great start to the tour. One of the servers at our first stop of Felix’s was rather abrasive but eventually warmed up to us once our tour guide showed up and we settled in. The food was good. I wish we got some more formal history about each dish, the cuisine, and the area and what not. According to the tour information I thought we were supposed to be going to five locations and only ended up going to four-I don’t know if it was the weather that shut down the fifth location as we were there right before the snowstorm of the century. We got a king cake in place of the fifth location but it wasn’t super clear as to why we didn’t go to the fifth restaurant. It would have been nice to go to a local bakery for a king cake rather than getting one the guide brought from a grocery store. Overall, I’m glad we did it and got a variety of good food with good portions.
