Searching for an affordable and fun way to get out to the famous Salt Lick BBQ and two (2) beautiful Texas Hill Country wineries? Look no further! This Hill Country BBQ and Wine Shuttle is great for solo travelers, couples, and small groups. The shuttle departs from the Austin Visitor Center at 10:30AM and heads out to the Driftwood area of the Texas Hill Country approx. 35-45 minutes southwest of Austin. Enjoy comfortable transportation in a Mercedes Sprinter van with a friendly local guide. Spend 45-50 minutes at each stop. Food/drinks not included in the shuttle price; guests pay directly at the restaurant and wineries.

Tour departs from the AUSTIN VISITOR CENTER located at 103 East 5th Street, Austin, TX 78701, USA
Minimum drinking age is 21 years old.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to start time for check in. We are unable to delay the tour for guests who arrive late.
Parking is available in the Austin Convention Center Garage which is connected to the Austin Visitor Center. Enter the garage on E 5th St between Red River and Sabine.
The tour runs rain or shine, however we reserve the right to cancel the tour in the event of extreme weather and/or hazardous road conditions that would potentially affect the safety of our guides and guests.
Guests with limited mobility are welcome to bring a wheelchair or portable scooter on board to be folded and placed in the rear of the van. The vans are not equipped with a ramp or wheelchair lift however, so all guests must be able to step up into the vehicle (about 12 inches).
If you have cold or flu-like symptoms or if you are feeling ill in any way, please do not join the tour.

Sip award-winning wines while soaking in those gorgeous Hill Country views! Tastings cost $17 + tax/tip (payable directly to the winery). Location subject to change based on availability.

Scott was wonderful! He's not only interesting but a level 2 sommelier so knows his wine! Salt Lick was delicious and very well set up - they are a busy place but we got in and got lunch right away. The only negative i'd say was no one in our party liked any of the wine selections from the first winery. The second one was not only much better but the winery was beautiful!

This was a beautiful tour and thanks to Avery, she made the tour with her historical knowledge of Texas and the vineyards visited. The wine tasting was amazing and definitely worth the trip! I highly recommend this tour and if you love bbq, the stop at Saltlick BBQ was will worth it to coat your stomach before wine tasting. We made some awesome friends during this tour and If you want to take a group tour, Avery is the person to request!!! She was friendly, knowledgeable, FUNNY, and makes you feel like you already know her. Thank you again Avery for a fantastic tour 👍🏾

You arrive in Texas and want BBQ and Wines I took the agency for a BBQ tour, and I made the reservation, they told you an exact time to arrive at the meeting point. BUT, in my case I was staying 30 minutes by car from the meeting center, then they called me on my cell phone asking if I was on the way, and I told them yes, that I am delayed by the traffic and the car, and I told them please I will arrive 10 more, And I arrived at the meeting point. And they were waiting for me, And Mr. TRACE greeted me, very kindly and cordially, (I was all embarrassed by my delay) And we started the trip The trip was very happy and pleasant, he guided us all the way through the BBQ meals About the TSL restaurant, the meats tasted very good, the place is big and in the wine areas, very good vineyards visited, Excellent host and guide. He taught us about the history of the places in TX and around And if I were to do another tour I would go back with them. P.S. bring cash for tips in honor of their services provided. In definition reliable, friendly and they help you if you have questions. And meet new friends. Recommended. Thanks Mr. Trace you #1 Greetings Y'ALL🤘🏻
