Provided snorkeling gear, flotation devices, instructions on how and what to see. Breakfast and lunch were served. Overall it was a fun morning. Started at 6-12pm.

The water at Molokini was so clear and a beautiful blue! There were lots of colorful fish-- i saw yellow tangs and parrotfish and many others I don't know the name of.

We saw a turtle within five minutes of arriving at Turtle Town! We came within a foot of two different turtles-- we had to back away from them, they were so friendly!

The crew was awesome! They were helpful and encouraging- it was our first time snorkeling. They gave us good safety instructions and acted as lifeguards. I felt quite safe. The also encouraged everyone to keep hydrated.

The breakfast was light-- muffins and fruit. Just right for before snorkeling. Lunch was all the makings for sandwiches and some macaroni salad.

On the way to and between snorkeling spots we saw whales! LOTS of spouting and a few playing and hitting the water with their flippers.

I would highly recommend this trip to everyone!

We booked the morning tour to Molokini Crater, as we had heard the water isn't as clear in the afternoon. We had a full boat - 55 people, so it was pretty tight. First impression was that the crew, with the exception of the captain, was largely disinterested... or they left their friendly sides at home. Despite this, they were efficient and quickly organised snorkels and wet suits for all, given the full house. And the boat was well stocked with flotation devices, noodles and paddle boards with a little peephole for parents and children. But the fish and the crater were a huge disappointment. There were a few schools of trigger, parrot and butterfly fish, but they were not abundant and it was difficult to get space clear of other snorkelers because of the restricted area the group had to be in. Because of the weather, the captain decided we couldn't go to Turtle Town, and Coral Gardens was not even mentioned. Instead we went looking for whales, which we found and that was exciting. We saw a whale calf learning how to breach. On the return trip quite a bit of energy went into spruiking alcoholic drinks even though it was rather rough. I think money would be better spent looking for snorkeling spots off a beach. It wasn't worth the early start, and I noticed the crew received very few tips that day, so perhaps their disinterest affected everyone on board.
