didn't go to turtle town even though all the other boats did we were told it was too murky to see - stayed at molokini about 2 hrs longer than what was needed in my opinion - water was very clear and excellent temperature though

The staff on our boat were excellent and used good judgement. The waves were very choppy the day that we went out to Molokini. Frankly, I was a bit afraid to get out of the boat since the waves were hitting the crater pretty high and hard. After about 5 to 10 minutes the crew decided that it was too dangerous so we left. We ended up at Turtle town which had very calm waters. We saw a turtle laying on the ocean's bottom and then swimming to the surface. A nice lunch was served and the crew served homemade cookies to top it off.

I don't even know how to start expressing my disappointment by this tour. First off all, only Americans, Canadians, Australians and New Zeelanders were able to get the displayed price of $18 from Boss Frog's. We as Swedes had to pay the outrageous price of $89 and we did, because we thought it was worth it... The breakfast was poor, some fruit and muffins. How about proper bread? When arriving at Molikini, it turns out the snorkeling is not any better then what we did free of charge and free of limitations of where you could go, days before in Honolua Bay. Oh well, but we still have Turtle Town, right? NO, they cancelled it because of unclear reasons and we even overheard the crew talking to a boat lined up next to us, who said they just came from Turtle Town and the conditions were fine. So it seems like the crew just didn't feel like it that day. So we stayed in Molokini for another hour, they took us for a spin around the island (like that would make up for Turtle Town), had a crappy lunch and then they took us back. Oh, and they also asked for tips after this.

Aloha, On rare occasions we have to reroute trips due to weather or sea conditions. Swell and wind direction are important safety considerations, and these elements can also affect snorkeling visibility. Our captains and crew are trained to make the best decision for the safety of all passengers and crew. These decisions are rarely, if ever, are made before the vessel leaves the harbor, but are instead made when the captain leaves the harbor and can better judge the currents and swell. We still provide the same trip length and amenities (or more), albeit at a different site. We make every effort to put out guests in the best, safest conditions possible. Customer service is our highest priority. Please respond to our trip advisor message so that we may respond fully to your comments. Thank you for your feedback. Mahalo, Chris, GM
