The winds were choppy and we never got out to Molokini. We did see turtles and got to take some nice pictures though. Ample time to snorkle. They pushed the wetsuit rental but they were unnecessary because the water was warm.

We appreciate your feedback. Wetsuit rentals are optional, the temp of the water does depend on what you're used to (believe it or not, this is about as cold as Maui gets!).

Do not recommend this tour for snorkeling. First impression is the best impression but it was all bad impression from the start. We were running a few minutes late and so we called them up to let them know. Sara(one of the crew) asked us to go directly to the boat. Upon reaching there, the captain asked us to go back to check in office to get our boarding pass. He also mentioned that there was no way we could get on the boat without boarding pass so not sure why were we asked to go to boat in the first place! So we went back again to collect the boarding pass and Sara did not seem surprised by it! The boat was very overcrowded and there was no place to sit .So we were moving out on to the deck to make space for crew to get the Snorkeling gear to everyone. When asked for one of the gear(fins) that we didn't receive, Sara blamed us for not staying in a place. Finally captain got us the fins!! Now about the trip. We first went to Molokini which was the main spot for snorkel and there were lot of reefs and fishes to enjoy but we had a very short snorkel(like about 15 mins). Then they took us to turtle town and allowed more time there.The snorkel at Turtle town was in no comparison with Molokini. There were no marine life and all we saw was some lava rocks! so was not worth spending more time there!!! Also they were more interested in making few selected people happy.l!! So we were left to figure out stuff for ourselves and didnt feel like their guests!! All in all Very confused and chaos trip! Not worth it, spend a bit more and hop on to bigger boats!!

The Malolo is a small group tour, which is what many of our passengers like about it. We are sorry to hear that you were running late for the tour and didn't enjoy turtle town as much as Molokini.

Great experience with friendly crew. Food was subpar but what do you expect?. Snorkeling locations were great with plenty of sea life and visuals. Turtle town was a personal favorite.
