Two stars are for the first location (Molokini Crater) which had amazing sea life close to the surface for a food snorkeling experience. If you have non swimmers in the group I would recommend avoiding this experience. There aren’t enough crew members to help out the non swimmers while keeping an eye on everyone else. (They should mention this on the website rather than informing the customers pn the boat) Also, if you are vegetarian, please carry your own food. Vegetarian options provided on the boat are just few tomato slices and lettuce tossed together with some dressing.

Our boats are equipped with every possible floatation device for beginner snorkelers (noodles, body boards, life jackets) and our crew is trained to keep all passengers accounted for while enjoying snorkeling at Molokini. Crew was good but not a lot of passion. Turtles were there but all very small and at the bottom of ocean…don’t pay the money if you think you will be actually swimming with large turtles. Good trip but should only cost about 1/2 the price for the quality.

The crew were great, boat was comfortable, good food and drink services. For snorkeling, Molokini is obviously great but not an easy place for beginners due to generally rougher water. Assuming a lot of novice folks, it would be good if there is some extra time for the folks to get used to it - and also if the crew helped passengers checking the snorkel gear on board that will be helpful. Crew does a demo but the first time someone said I am not wearing my mask right was in the middle of the water. Turtle town was more fun and comfortable and we saw some good turtles, fish and coral out there.
