We pass by Miami enroute to Islamorada.

Key Largo

We drive through Key Largo on our way to Islamorada. Key Largo is the largest of the Key islands. Hear interesting information from your travel guide on Key Largo.

Anne's Beach

An oceanside nature walk in Lower Matecumbe Key. Take a stroll along a beautiful beach in Lower Matecumbe Key where you'll see the most picturesque views of the Florida Keys. Walk at your pace on a boardwalk or get your feet wet and wade through the warm shallow tropical water of an oceanside beach.

Islamorada

Embark on a 1 hour bayside backcountry mangrove scenic boat cruise. Step aboard a bay boat, and cruise around the winding mangrove forests of the Upper Keys. Enjoy the magnificent views of nature and wildlife from the water's viewpoint. Look for manatees, dolphin, sharks, crocodiles, rays, birds, fish, and more. See some of Islamorada's most extravagant waterfront bayside homes.

Islamorada

Enjoy free time at an Islamorada world-class marina with scenic views. Watch a tarpon feeding frenzy, grab a signature cocktail or local draft beer, or purchase a handcrafted souvenir from one of the gift shops.

My partner and I were staying at Mizner Place and saw the flyer for this trip. Vacation Village offered a $20 discount, so we decided to go. We had a great day. Jason, the owner, was the driver and guide. We rode in a comfortable twelve passenger van. Jason has been involved in all types of outdoor businesses in South Florida for 30 years. He had an immense wealth of knowledge about Islamorada and the other keys and presented it in a fun manor. We stopped at Anne's Beach, a private beach with a newly rebuilt boardwalk that allowed us to see iguanas and other wildlife. We had a delicious lunch at The Island Grill. Our next stop was a marina where we saw a tarpon and manatee feeding frenzy. A deep sea fishing boat had a great catch, and the waste after the fish were cut up made the tarpon happy. We were able to enjoy delicious key lime pie at The Islamorada Fish Company and shop at Bass Pro Shops. Our day ended with a one hour boat ride in the Florida sunshine with Justin and Max spinning some tunes. We drove home tired but happy. We learned so much, made new friends, and enjoyed the warm weather. Thanks to Jason, the trip gave us some great memories.

Jason, our guide and driver, led us through a fun filled, all day trip, into the Florida Keys. We enjoyed learning the local flora and fauna from such an expert! We highly recommend this tour.
