It was a great trip and Erich was a great guide. If you are going to raft in Buena Vista Noah’s is the best outfitter you can use. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

We took our first rafting adventure with Noah’s Ark with Caleb Shillingburg as our expert guide! Caleb and the rafting company did an incredible job at putting us at ease with our first rafting trip. We were reassured after seeing the guides expertly explain the process, the rules and the methods to make the ride a success and in the end it was a highlight of our vacation. We choose the moderate route being our first time. We felt very confident we could tackle the challenge, because Caleb kept us on task -and provided a wonderful commentary along the route. The scenery was incredible. The lunch provided was very delicious and served by the guides. There are many rafting companies, but be sure you go with Noah’s Ark. They were reasonably priced and treated us like we were family. (Free advice: rent the wet suit and booties. Totally worth the extra couple bucks.)

I did this same rafting trip with Noah's Ark in 1995. 24 years later it was just as much fun as I remembered it. This is a reputable company that has great guides and has stood the test of time. This time I had my wife, our two teenage sons, and two teenage nieces along for the trip. We did the full day Brown's Canyon trip. It was around $100 per person. A good time was had by all and it is worth every penny. Our guide Jack was great. When I do my next rafting trip with Noah's Ark I will definitely be requesting him. He was very knowledgeable about the canyon and region in general and shared many interesting details along the trip. His personality was well suited to the business as well. He was able to joke along with the kids while still impressing upon them the serious nature of what we were going to be dealing with in the bigger rapids. He kept everybody safe and in the boat. The shore lunch provided was great. Sandwiches, chips, cookies, etc. Rafting a great stretch of whitewater like Brown's Canyon needs to be at the top of your to-do list of things to do in Colorado in the summer, and Noah's Ark and guide Jack should be your first choice to go with. Hope to see you again next summer!
