We wanted to river raft this summer but did not know where to go or what company to chose. I found Noah's Ark on the web but not until a gentleman on an airline flight recommend Noah's Ark as No #1 did I chose them. When I called to make a reservation the young lady was very nice, friendly and helpful. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly, given thorough instructions about safety and dress. We had a very knowledgeable guide that was terrific though-out the "full-day" rafting trip which included a homemade lunch along the river bank. The Arkansas River was lower than normal this summer but the rafting was still fun as we got caught in some of the boulders and swirls that the low river exposed. And, as a result of the lower river, our guide went 5 extra miles down Browns Canyon...it was a TERRIFIC experience. I recommend the company very highly. This was our first time at rafting. Now, we would like to take the next level of rapids down one of the other canyons. We also stayed at the Lakeside Motel in Buena Vista, CO, which I also recommend highly. Wonderfully clean, quiet and close to Noah's Ark.

Oh man we had such a blast! We sincerely had a very awesome experience on Saturday 6-30-12 on the full day trip down Browns Canyon. The kids and I cannot thank you and your staff enough for such a phenomenal experience, lifetime memories made on a day we will never forget. Thank you so much and thank you to Anna our guide as well as she made it truly spectacular, as well as the rest of the team and the lunch that was out of this world delicious. We used another company last year and the year before but after this Saturday we will be back to Noah’s next year for sure. You guys truly make it a great experience, even buying the shirts and the picture cd was excellent. Again truly a GREAT experience and we are looking forward to using your team on our next trip for sure. Thank you again, we are coming back.

My wife and I try to go whitewater rafting at least once a summer and while many of the rafting companies in Buena Vista are very reliable, fun, safe, and reasonably priced, there is just something about Noah's Ark that stands out above the rest. From the second we arrived there, we felt this very welcoming feeling and the guys there were all very attentive and made the check-in process very quick and easy. Because they do get very crowded, it's best to arrive at least 45 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. We rafted 18 miles of the Arkansas River on a full day adventure that included Bighorn Canyon and the Royal Gorge. Because this stretch of river requires rafting experience and is not for beginners, we had a boat full of experienced rafters which made the trip all that much more enjoyable for us. We had an awesome guide who made sure we had fun and stayed safe at the same time. He goofed around with us in the calm sections of river but yet took his job extremely seriously in the rapids. Because this is a Christian-run company, you can not only expect overall better service but prayer time as well and it was great that we were able to have a prayer before lunch. I do wish they had a prayer before getting in the boat as that's when it's needed the most! I strongly recommend Noah's Ark to not only Church groups but to anyone who is looking to have a fun and enjoyable day on the river and have no problem bringing God along too!
