Matt was our guide and he was great! Very knowledgeable about the area, put us on great fishing and was clearly respectful of the land. He had a great sense of humor and was enjoyable to spend the day with. The water was higher than normal but he kept us safe and took us to the best places to catch Dolly’s and rainbows. The fish we caught were beautiful!

Came to the Kenai with friends and no fly fishing experience. Both JJ and Matt made the trip epic for a first timer. I learned and caught big fish at the same time. We had great laughs and really enjoyed the time on the river. I totally recommend booking with Kenai River Trout Anglers.

This was my first trip to the Kenai, and my first time fly fishing experience. JJ and Matt were fantastic. They made every day fun and exciting!!! We hooked so many large rainbows and dollys all 3 days!!!! It was an incredible experience. JJ and his team have a client for life!!!!! If anyone is thinking of making this trip…. Call JJ!!!!
