I understand that this is a full day tour but it was definitely NOT what we expected. While we knew that this was not a "hop on, hop off" tour, we were really disappointed with the time allowed at the stops. Each stop has barely enough time to see anything before rushing back to the bus so as not to get left behind. Yes, this happened to one couple on our tour at the very first stop! You are given approximately 40min per stop and the bus doesn't stop in ideal place per location. For example, the Rodeo Dr. stop is a block away. If you want to do anything more than walk around the block, forget it. Each stop has public restrooms but they aren't super close to where the bus drops you so spend 10min walking to the washroom and that leaves you with 30min to explore the stop? Not great! The "Walk of Stars"??? Ha! it would take you well over a couple of hours to fully appreciate and take it all in. This tour gives you enough time for a washroom break, and half a block of star viewing. Santa Monica in my opinion should be eliminated from the tour altogether! It's only a 9min walk from where the bus picks you up and also a block and a half away. In fact, I'd be shocked if it wasn't quicker to walk to the pier from the tour start point than walking from where the Santa Monica stop is!!? If this POI was deleted from the tour, the rest of the stops would have slightly more time. The Griffith park stop was scenically beautiful but the observatory was closed on the day of our tour. However, we'd likely not have enough time to do anything there anyway as the stop was only 30-35min. One thing that was really really amazing was the communication. Originally, we were going to be picked up from a hotel but then after buying the ticket, realized that it would be quicker, easier and cheaper to just drive to the tour start location so messaged them from the viator portal and communication was super quick and accommodating.

Our guide Joe was great and the tour was excellent! The bus was comfortable and they had water available. We felt like we had a fair amount of time to explore each stop. Definitely recommend!

It was an amazing tour! Our guide Raul made it all the way more entertaining and interesting. Thanks for having water bottle in the vehicle - that was super helpful.
