Browns Canyon on the Arkansas River is our most popular trip! This in an intermediate trip but also not too scary for first-timers. The unique combination of lots of exciting whitewater, spectacular canyon scenery, great mountain views of some of Colorado’s highest mountains and opportunities to spot wildlife make this the ideal raft trip.

Arkansas River

Browns Canyon National Monument on the Arkansas River is our most popular trip! The unique combination of lots of exciting whitewater, spectacular canyon scenery, great mountain views of some of Colorado’s highest mountains and opportunities to spot wildlife make this the ideal raft trip. Exciting enough for seasoned paddlers, but not too scary for first-timers. You will want to bring your friends and family for epic rapids such as Pinball, Zoom Flume, and Big Drop!

Colorado’s most popular raft trips are located on America’s most popular river for rafting – the Arkansas River. This river provides everything you could want in a river rafting trip. Beautiful scenery, a lot of whitewater on each trip, pristine water quality, a feeling of remoteness, a comfortable and dry climate, and a wide selection of options to help you enjoy your perfect trip.

Just WOW! We had an amazing day on our rafting experience. Our guide, Josh, was absolutely outstanding. From his friendly calm demeanor to his expertise on the water and the fabulous lunch it was an excellent day. My husband and I are in our mid fifites, our three kids range from 18-21. We were both challenged and had time to take in the beautiful scenery. Josh knew a lot of interesting facts about the area he shared with us was a great instructor for us "newbies". Instead of lunching at a crowded place we stopped along the route and picniced on a large boulder with a great view. He pulled out a small grill and in no time we had a lunch of fajitas, fresh fruit, chips and salsa, salad, and even brownies. There was enough excitement on the trip for my 19 year old son and at the same time I always felt safe under Josh's guidance. I can't say enough about what a great guide Josh was and all that it added to our experience. The Adventure Co. has very helpful people and the equipment all looked sate and in good condition. I would highly recommend booking your experience with this company. If we go back, I will go there and request the same guide as well!

We had a really fun trip rafting Browns Canyon. We were exceptionally impressed with The Adventure Company; the communication prior to the trip, the facilities, and the guides were all top notch. We appreciated the small company feel as sometimes with larger companies you feel like a number. Food was good too!

We have been rafting with The Adventure Company for 5 years, and every trip we have done has been awesome. Our guides have always been excellent and great with young kids. We were with Cory this trip, and he was outstanding and went above and beyond to make sure our boys had a great day. Thanks for another great trip!
