This rafting adventure was the highlight of our trip to Colorado. We had booked the float a few weeks prior for a Monday so there would be less crowds. The Adventure Company is a smaller rafting operator on the river so when we arrived we found we were the only family on our float - we got a private tour! Our two girls (11 and 9) loved the float but weren't going to be much help paddling so we decided that mom and dad would paddle. Our guide Evan did a fantastic job even though two he only had 2 parents to help with the raft. He made sure the trip was fun for everyone, especially the girls. He also prepared a fantastic lunch! The fajitas were really wonderful and there was also some fresh apple, orange and even a bit of salad plus the brownies for dessert. It was amazing they have found a way to cook this food on the side of the river, we didn't see any other companies trying to do this. Their website touts their policy of only hiring experienced guides and it really shows with the quality of the tour they delivered. Also, there is a company taking photos at one of the early rapids. We bought the whole set of our family.

We had an amazing trip with Cory. We had a large group of 12 and TAC did a great job accommodating everyone and making it a memorable experience. Everyone is still talking about how wonderful the fajita lunch was, and this was definitely the highlight of our vacation. I can't reiterate enough how nice it was to have such an experienced guide. There were parts of the rapids that posed extra challenges with the water being low this year, but Cory knew exactly how to help us navigate to avoid the hazards. Kudos to TAC for everything!

This great ADVENTURE was an EXCELLENT investment of time, money and energy that reaped immediate and long lasting rewards! Great at the time and great in our memories. A super summer family highlight! From beginning to end we knew we were in the good hands. Everyone we dealt with from the first person we spoke with on the phone to the people at the front desk, to the staff member who outfitted us with life jackets and advice (who we later found out was the owner), to the drivers who got us to and from our drop off and pick-up points, everyone was very cool, kind, professional and courteous! Special kudos to our guide, Doug, who could not have been more knowledgeable and gracious while expertly commanding us and our raft, juggling conversation, directing our attention to points of interest, answering questions from young and old, and suddenly shifting to giving us the crucial commands necessary to keep us and our craft safe and sound while paddling, floating, turning, twisting and flying down the Arkansas River! And then he stopped, set up a portable stove, and cooked and served us up a delicious fajitas lunch! Many thanks to ALL Staff at your aptly named: The Adventure Company!
