I had the incredible opportunity to go on a Matanuska Glacier hiking tour guided by Chris, and it was an unforgettable experience! Chris was not only knowledgeable about the glacier’s history and geology but also made the hike fun and engaging. His expertise and passion for the area were evident every step of the way, and he made sure we were all safe and comfortable while exploring the stunning ice formations. A big thank you to Ina as well, who drove us to and from the glacier. She was friendly, professional, and made the entire trip seamless and enjoyable. Both Chris and Ina truly made this adventure a highlight of our Alaskan trip. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience the Matanuska Glacier!

Ben was our tour guide and he was great!! Just as advertised, we stopped at a grocery market to buy food, snacks and any last minute items to keep us warm. The shuttle doesn’t have the best insulation so your feet are going to get pretty cold on the drive up, I’d recommend buying plenty of foot warmers and putting them ON the drive up and another when you’re about to take the hike. Ben made sure to keep us entertained and also provided some tips on how to stay warm. The hike was great! They provided us with a lot of information and always made sure we weren’t getting too cold. Morgan was our guide on the hike, I’d recommend booking this tour! :)

This was a quite good experience! They drive you to the glacier and then you have a glacier tour guide to take you to the glacier and show you the glacier knowledge! Quite cool. You need to really dress warm. Face coverage is a must.
