Overview

The Full Day Sportsman (Extended) Charter is 8 Hrs. of fishing! This allows enough time to check all the buoys in a 40 mile range. This almost guarantees you will catch more fish than anyone!

We can also light tackle the buoys for Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and Ono, if you choose.

The "Cowboy" is a very comfortable 35’ Bertram, for you to relax and enjoy the experience...until you're on and adrenaline is flowing!

*In addition we will fillet and package your fish and provide complimentary photos/videos of your experience.

Great day on the water with Shawn and Sawyer. Would recommend anyone on the Big Island wanting an awesome deep sea fishing adventure go with Kona Cowboy Sportfishing. 🤙

I teamed up with the cowboy crew for 3 day marlin fishing tournament. First and foremost, Captain Shawn had his boat and his gear dialed in. He was a man on a mission those 3 days out on the water. The captain and his crew are skilled professional fisherman that are also very accommodating and friendly. I’ve been on many charters all over the world, this group is by far the best I’ve been out with. The boat is in great shape, its clean and the equipment is perfect working order. One huge bonus to fishing with the Kona Cowboy is the lodge. The pictures on web don’t do it justice. The lodge has an amazing view, sunsets are incredible from the living room and large porch. The house is new with awesome finishing. The master suite was awesome with tons of room. The lodge provided a perfect place for my family to relax and enjoy their vacation. Kim was extremely accommodating to fact that we have small children. Honestly the place was so great we asked to stay a couple extra nights even after the tournament was over. Can’t wait to head back to kona to fish some more with them!

Capt. Shawn knows how to give a great experience and never disappoints! Best fishing in Kona hands downs We had a great time and hooked up to a huge Marlin. My boyfriend has never been offshore fishing, Shawn and the crew made it such an easy experience, we had our adrenaline pumping! So much fun we’ll definitely be coming back. The deckhand was really great too, very knowledgeable and friendly. These guys reallly know what they’re doing! An experience I’ll never forget, such a fun family event! The boat is so clean and so comfortable. Highly recommend this experience to anyone, there’s nothing in the world like it! Thank you all so much!!
