Travel up the western coast and visit the picturesque Concord Waterfalls nestled in the lush mountains where you can be refreshed by swimming in the cool water. Visit the fishing town of Gouyave and the spice processing station, where you will see why our island is called the "Isle of Spice" then continue to the Diamond chocolate factory to taste and learn how chocolate is made. Have lunch at an authentic Grenadian restaurant, before heading to the Caribbean's oldest functional water-powered distillery before tasting its potent rum. Michael was wonderful! He was so knowledgeable and an excellent driver. He took us all over the island, even to places notified on the tour. He loves Grenada and wants to share its beauwith you. The buffet lunch was delicious as well.

A brilliant day trip as a result of our wonderful guide Michael who was full of humour and interesting facts. He included everyone in the discussion and was a font of knowledge. Would highly recommend. Things to be aware of: there is a lot of time in the minibus on windy lanes. It passes quickly due to the commentary but isn't ideal if you suffer from motion sickness. Take some money to buy souvenirs - the chocolate is the best!

The whole tour was nice but what made it outstanding was our tour guide Michael. He knew everything about the island and made us laugh constantly. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting to know about the history and landmarks of the island.
