I took a group of college students on this full-day rafting trip. It was well-organized and fun! The safety briefing was thorough and engaging. The food was yummy, and kept us fueled for the paddling. It's a great adventure for first-timers and more experienced rafters to do together. You will definitely get wet! The wet suit, splash jacket, and safety gear were essential, and we were glad they were included in the price.

We are so glad that we signed up for this rafting adventure. We'd looked into several different rivers, rafting companies, length of trips, etc. We wanted something more exciting than some of the other rivers offered, and this seemed the best option for a full-day outing. We were given a filling and healthy breakfast at the outfitter's shop in town while being orientated. It took a bit of drive time to get to the put-in place, but this was due to some wildfire activity in the area and main roads being closed. It was excellent having the outfitter load up all of our equipment and drive us there. The excitement began immediately after putting into the river, as we went through numerous class IV+ rapids right away. After a few hours of challenging excitement on the water, we took out for lunch. The outfitter provided a large and delicious spread, and it was great to rest a bit in the warm sun while enjoying our meal. Our guide was very friendly and informative, so it was nice to talk with him over our meal. Then back into the water for some more rapids, as well as a few slightly slower areas that allowed us to sight-see a bit more. When we took out at our landing place just over the California state line, our van was waiting to pick us up -- with root beer floats to celebrate our success. I'd call that a great day! I'd definitely recommend this outfitter and this rafting trip. Can't think of anything to change.

The rafting itself was excellent. The van trip to the embarkation point and the return, not so much. the van was...well, it was a very big, uncomfortable, not very clean, old van. Okay, all of these things are worth it for the payoff of a good day on the river. A lack of air conditioning in the 21st Century on a really hot Oregon day, not so good.

Our guide Glen was excellent, knowledgeable, and very safety conscious, would raft with him again. Our van driver Robert was a good guy, and interesting.

The lunch was average, but you of course are not there for the food.
