Zombie Scavengers is a digital scavenger hunt played using an app on your phone. The game is played all outdoors in public spaces, and you are not required to come into contact with anyone except your own team. Makes for the perfect social distancing activity!

This was not un-fun, but there was little special about it that specifically related to the location. It could have been anywhere (at least anywhere in a city) so I’m not sure why this is a thing to do in Minneapolis, or why one had to make their way down to the certain park. Essentially, it is a photo scavenger hunt app, and by paying you get an AI texting account that “guides” you for an hour and allows you to compare your scores to others who are theoretically playing at the same time (although we never saw anyone else doing it, so I’m skeptical). Our family enjoyed taking pictures of each other doing some silly things, etc., but this really wasn’t a great activity compared to other unique and interesting things one could do on a beautiful day in the city.

The person who guides you is a real human, and was following along with you. The people you are playing against could be playing anywhere in the country - that's why the game is not city specific - so you are able to compete against others in different cities!
