Galveston Red Light District Tour

Overview
Return to a time when the mob ran Galveston and their guests were treated as if they were family. When you crossed the bridge you enter "The Free State of Galveston," where the only rules were mob rules. The stars of the era were world class entertainers brought in to perform in the casinos, including Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Dean Martin. Everyone was enjoying their own "Vegas Dream" right here in Galveston.

It was a dark and stormy night! So Rob threw in some ghost stories with the tour. I’m a haunted tour guide with Haunted ATX in Austin, Tx, so this was perfect for our group. Hearing about the history of some of the women of Galveston was so fascinating. I would recommend grabbing a cocktail at Daiquiri Time Out while in the area.

Grabbing your cocktail at daiquiri time out is always a great recommendation LOL. Last night we had a lot of tour guides on our different tours. We appreciate you all coming. And when we get a good review from our colleagues it really is something special thank you

Rob, our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. He told us about Galveston history that we hadn't heard before. He was well versed in the red light district and the politics as well as organized crime around the town.
