What To Expect

The Loop

The area most associated with gangster era crime and haunting is know as “The Loop”. This was the cities vice district during the roaring 20’s and 1930’s riddled with speakeasy saloons, secret underground tunnels used by bootleggers and the headquarters of famous gangsters such as Al Capone. The tour is about 1.5 miles long with frequents stops and a refreshment/restroom break.

Palmer House Hilton Historic Lobby

Stop for a break at the Palmer House Hotel, rumored to be haunted. The Palmer House Hotel is the oldest hotel in Chicago and considered the oldest continuously operating hotel in the USA.

Chicago Riverwalk

You'll walk along the Riverwalk during the tour, which is guided by a Historian. It is not theatrical, but rather the tales are told in a more “around the campfire” fashion. Spooky and verified ghost stories will be shared throughout the tour along with visiting the famous gangster hang outs.

This tour is fun, informative, and just all-around terrific! The length and distance were perfect, Kai the tour guide was OUT.STAND.ING, and they made sure that a portrait I took of "Cat Man" got to him. I was in town for a large national conference, and made sure to recommend this excursion to everyone I met! My friend and I had a blast, and I would even take the same tour again in a heartbeat. Well done and thank you so much!

Our tour guide was Connor, he was very friendly and knowledgeable on the history and architecture of the city. The tour was exceptional and informative. A great way for First timers or anyone who wants to learn more about Chicago. Will definitely book again!

Such a great tour! I learned so much about Chicago’s colourful history. Connor was an excellent tour guide and very knowledgeable. He did a great job of building the suspense in the stories he shared with us. Definitely a tour worth taking when you are in Chicago.
