What To Expect
1
The Loop
The area most associated with gangster era crime and haunting is know as “The Loop”. This was the cities vice district during the roaring 20’s and 1930’s riddled with speakeasy saloons, secret underground tunnels used by bootleggers and the headquarters of famous gangsters such as Al Capone. The tour is about 1.5 miles long with frequents stops and a refreshment/restroom break.
2
Millennium Park
Home to Cloud Gate and a famous Chicago landmark.
3
Palmer House Hilton Historic Lobby
Stop for a break at the Palmer House Hotel, rumored to be haunted. The Palmer House Hotel is the oldest hotel in Chicago and considered the oldest continuously operating hotel in the USA.
4
Chicago Riverwalk
You'll walk along the Riverwalk during the tour, which is guided by a Historian. It is not theatrical, but rather the tales are told in a more “around the campfire” fashion. Spooky and verified ghost stories will be shared throughout the tour along with visiting the famous gangster hang outs.
5
Cloud Gate
Will be seen on the tour - also known as "the bean!"
6
The Chicago Theatre
Stop for photos at this famous Chicago landmark!

Where do I start There was over 25 people in our group Found it hard to hear what was being said so had to muscle in to the front of the crowd Started late due to the number of people and waited for everyone to catch up Only about 10 facts were given over the whole tour and to be honest I knew most of them already due to doing a tour with sea dog the day before Halfway through the tour we were required to stop at a hotel for drinks and a rest break, was this really necessary as the tour was only meant to be 2 hours However this was not to be as the tour guide had to skip off after 1 and a half hours or he was going to be late for the next tour

Went to a few hotels and some info on Al Capone. Nothing exciting. Probably of the worst tours I’ve been on…

Our tour guide, Kai, was very entertaining and controlled the tour group very well. She made route adjustments for those who would struggle with stairs, and was attentive to questions from the group. Great experience - my teen daughter loved it, which is quite a feat!
