Overview

A great way to experience one of nature's greatest treasures: Garden of the Gods!! This tour includes sights such as Kissing Camels, Praying Hands, and Park Overlook. Unobscured views and a mellow pace will ensure your visit to this beautiful red rock park is memorable. Your guide will point out exotic plant life, Red-tailed Hawks, eagles' nests, mule deer, Big Horn Sheep, and of course, numerous spectacular geologic formations and the unique caricatures hidden within them. We make several short stops, but generally stay on the Segways throughout the tour. You will learn about the cultural history of the park, and hear a variety of tall tales and true stories of the Old West and Colorado Springs!! Be sure to dress in layers with closed-toe shoes. Includes Cone Zone safety training and the best guides in The West!!

Did this tour without much research on our first day here. Two adults, two daughters (14,12). After a quick tutorial (none had previously been on Segways), we were good to go. Nice, easy riding, with beautiful sites. Big D has been a park ranger at several spots. He had great knowledge of the park, the rocks, the flowers, with personal stories to share. A great way to be introduced to the Garden of the Gods area.

Me and some of friends went on the Garden of the Gods Segway Tour and this was our FIRST Segway tour. We had all sorts of apprehensions about riding Segways and our apprehensions came true when we tried playing with them machines. And then came Big D, our savior ! Not only did he help us get our Segway game right, but also took us on a memorable tour across those amazingly intimidating rocks also known as the Garden of the Gods ( as if God just cultivated rocks). His tales on rescuing climbers trying to give it back to them rocks, got us goosebumps ( sometimes :-P ) . All in all, an experience worth the moolah, made better by a great instructor. Thanks Big D.

This was a spur of the moment idea and we ended up loving it. We took a beautiful tour through the Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs. You will miss so much if you do this on your own. One of the neatest things was getting to try the different springs. Get Cascade as your tour guide if you can and tell her that Justin and Pockets sent you. She is the absolute best and really knows her stuff.
