I have been on many walking tours and this one is by far the best that Iā€™ve ever been on. TC was really friendly, really personable, has great knowledge and really involved all of the group. It is so nice to have someone who is so passionate about the area and the history and has so many stories to tell. The incorporation of headsets so that all could easily follow without needing to crowd around as well as audio and visual clues used throughout gave me a far better insight into Savannah than I would have had on my own. I really couldnā€™t recommend Genteel and Bard enough! You can also tell the local connections as TC is seeing familiar faces throughout the tour.

Ashley was fantastic. Her story telling from colonial time to WWII to Forest Gump allowed us to see Savanah history in a very different light and depth. Both my husband and I enjoyed the walking tour. Wag-o-ween helped a bit also. After the tour, we stopped by Gryphon for an afternoon tea as she recommended, then circled around Forsyth Park, then returned to the "bookstore chocolate shop". We didn't get to see the Sistine Chapel of the South as suggested by her however as it was closed for a wedding. It was a nice and fulfilled afternoon nonetheless, both intellectually and "tummily", thanks to the information she provided during the tour. I highly recommend it.

Ray was our guide and was an excellent story teller. Kept us entertained for the entire tour with fascinating stories of people and the history of Savannah. This was my third city tour and, by far the best.
