We recently did a historic tour/travelling up the east coast and stopped in Savannah. We had done a few other walking tours and found Genteel & Bard in this historic gem. Are we ever glad we did! The highlights -- you get audio! Ear buds that become yours for life, are given at the beginning of the tour. Having the tour guide talk, play some music and sound bytes of historical events through the ear buds was incredible! We didn't miss a thing to automobile noises, other people talking or getting too far behind. You could stop and take a picture and still hear all that was going on. TC was an excellent host and historian...filled with lots of back story on different elements of the city. He was nicely paced and we thoroughly enjoyed him having a number of things on his iPad to show us -- additional/historical photos, etc. He always made sure everyone had a chance to see the iPad and answered questions as we went. He also had tips and ideas for eating spots and other things to do, depending on peoples' interests. Can't say enough about how impressed and pleased we were. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful morning strolling the streets and squares of Savannah. Our tour guide was smart and funny, keeping us thoroughly entertained. We left with a better understanding of the city's history, people and culture. We have been taking Viator tours in each city we have visited, both in the US and abroad, throughout 2017 and have benefited greatly. It is a perfect way to quickly understand each place we have visited and then hone in on what we want to explore further.

My husband and I showed up for the tour and it turned out we were the only two. We walked all over the beautiful city, listened to TC and to the special quotes he had on his tablet. We learned about all the major historic sites and had all our questions answered. TC even spent extra time with us! We really appreciated his knowledge and attention. We recommend this tour to everyone!!
