Ghost and Haunt Tour of Gatlinburg

Overview
Walk the back roads of Gatlinburg and learn about its haunted history and folklore on this nighttime tour. With a guide, you'll learn how you, too, can capture paranormal photos. Use ghost-hunting equipment like you see on tv to potentially communicate with ghosts along the way.
The tour is an outdoor walking tour as such there is plenty of room for social distancing and masks are optional, It is wheelchair and stroller accessible and service animals are allowed.
Unfortunately, due to the late completion time, the Trollys don’t run that late but we do offer free parking and of course, taxis and Uber, Lyft are available.
The walk is about one mile all on flat paved ground spread out over 2 hours with lots of stops so a messy relaxing walk but no places to sit or restrooms are available during the tour.
This is not a private tour groups can be as large as the upper 20’s in the busiest times but average in the high teens to low 20’s.

We took the tour and enjoyed it. It is more about the history of Gatlingurg but it is still interesting. I got back one picture that is possibly paranormal. It is not too scary , it is ok for the kids. What I liked most about the tour is the guide was nice and he took us down the backstreets and to a cemetary with interesting stories of Gatlinburg and also threw in some personal stories of his own about his Grandmother, etc. I liked that it was a more serious tour. I don't like the tours with people dressed up in hokey costumes with a lot of acting and theactrics. The one thing I did not like and thought was a little strange, the tour says it is less then a mile of walking, what they don't tell you and maybe it was just this guide and not the others is you walk back by yourselves. We were 3 women and the only ones on the tour. After we got done in the cemetary our guide told us to follow the road back down to the parkway and follow it back to light 8 and back up to the parking lot 2/10th of a mile back up the road. He was going the other way down to the doughnut friar. He was probably going home because the doughnut shop was probably closed by then. We had no flashlights and the back road was very dark down to the parkway. If we could have gone back the way we came it would have been shorter. It seemed like a real long way back to our car. It just seemed strange he did not take us back to the starting point of the tour. Maybe the other tourguides take you back, I don't know. All in all it was an interesting tour and we liked it. It did seem like more then a mile of walking going back to our car the way we did, but I could be wrong I was not wearing a pedometer.
