Had a good time. Ellie was super friendly and very knowledgeable. We have lived in the area for years but we did not know a great deal of the interesting history we leaned on the tour.

Zander provided a great balance of fact and humor to bring the tales of Georgetown history to life. We got a totally different perspective of the small town we love to visit during the perfect time of year for spooky historical tales after dark.

Our guide knew the history & stories but presentation fell flat with our group. A little crude and insensitive with the subject matter. (Yes, it was advertised what was going to be discussed but could have been handled better) We ended up leaving after 30 minutes because we couldn’t take it anymore. Also disappointed it wasn’t a tour but basically a walk around the square. We did not go inside any buildings but just sat on the steps of the courthouse to hear the stories. Since we left early, I can’t say if they did go inside other buildings or not. Unfortunately I would not recommend this activity to anyone else. It had such potential but really didn’t deliver as advertised.

It is unfortunate that you did not enjoy our Ghost Maker Tour. Our tour guide has been with us for quite a while and has consistently received great reviews, but we know that sometimes folks just don't click with the guide's method of presenting - it's the nature of the industry. It sounds like you only did about 30% of the tour - and were hoping to go inside of locations, as well as leave the Square - both of which happened after your departure. We actually go inside 2 locations to experience the history of the building (this is not a ghost hunt), and the remainder of the tour is off the Square. However, we acknowledge the importance of constructive feedback; we just wish that folks would give the entire tour a chance before submitting an opinion on whether or not others should attend.
