This tour was interesting. Our tour guide russell was very cool. Wasn’t very scary but I do love ghosts.

Overall it was very nice. The guide was good too! I wish we had been able to get a little closer to some of the buildings.

The tour guide was the worst I have ever had. I would have given this a zero rating if I was allowed. The guide started off by insulting us and some others as well. She told my daughter to keep her children away from her because she didn’t like people near her - my grandchildren weren’t anywhere near her and were totally behaving. She had so many opinionated side comments during the tour that the actual story was lost. When she looked at her notes she would say things like “I’m not saying that” or “I don’t like that.” Nothing she shared that was supposed to be about the ghosts was and the little bit she shared was lost in her side stories. Her history was somewhat slanted and off. For example, we learned she hates Thomas Edison because he killed an elephant with electricity, which had nothing to do with Albany or the story she was telling. She had us guess the major animal of the area at the time of white settlers and said it was the size of a VW bug - then gave a hint that it was trapped - I said Beaver, which was correct - when was a beaver ever the size of a car?? She kept changing her voice into a high pitch squeal when following a script and a low voice when it was her own opinion. She also insisted on telling stories while walking and getting annoyed because we couldn’t hear her while we walked. When we did stop to hear a story, she would face the building with us to her back so it was still hard to hear. We left about 1/4 way through because we couldn’t take her any more. Other customers begged us to stay because they didn’t want to be with her either. I have put in for a refund of 75% because we did do about 1/4 of the trip but that is us being generous. She is a bad reflection of your tour company.
