GLOW Clear Kayak Tour

Overview

We'll get you checked in right when you arrive to allow for the most possible time on the water! Once you're all checked in, we'll give some basic paddle instructions and safety information about the tour ahead. We'll get you loaded up into your clear kayak and off we go! The paddle will last about 2 to 2.5 hours, depending on the speed and size of our group. We’ll shortly find our way into mangrove tunnels. Along the way we will search for local marine life and also give our guests some unique facts about the surrounding area. When you do this tour, with the combination of the LED lights and our CLEAR kayaks, it brings the marine life to us and provides a CLERLY different view to any kayak tour you have ever done before. Get ready for a great time and enjoyable paddling!

Started off the tour on a little beachhead right by Little Jim’s Bait Shop. As we embarked on our adventure we were accompanied by the live music coming from the shore, as we slowly got deeper into the mangroves the music grew quieter and the sounds of nature took stage. The sound of cormorants and other creatures of the mangroves caused me to forgot that just 15min ago I was in in civilization. Fish swam underneath my Kayak, sometimes they would even hit it! The glow from the light bars allowed me to see even clearer than I had expected and saw on my way through the red mangroves, puffer fish and stingrays. The real treat came after we came through what I could only call a tunnel of vines and roots that opened up onto a sandbar. Charlie the owner and Thomas one of the tour guides showed me that we could stand on this sandbar. So we stretched our legs, little did I know, the true idea of the GLOW tour would come. Thomas and Charlie showed me how to pickup these comb jelly fish and how in perfect darkness, they would light up like a Christmas tree! There were so many of the, and guess what, they don’t sting! After that the paddle home was filled with great views and wonderful chit chat from the tour guides. I could not recommend this enough if you’re in the area!
