I ordered our Go City Oahu passes several weeks before we got to Oahu. I tried to plan out our days so that we got the most use of the pass as possible. Along with the pass is an audio tour. I downloaded that early to make sure that I had it available and ready to go. When we were ready to start our first tour, I saw that one of the passes (of two) had been used and was now expired. I was freaking out and didn't know what to do. This was our first day in Oahu, and I had 8+ tours/attractions planned. I called Customer Service, and although the wait was long, when I did finally get someone, they understood my problem and tried to help. It turns out that when I downloaded the audio tour, that started my time on the pass. I explained that I didn't realize downloading an audio tour would start the timer, and it wasn't said anywhere. The customer service rep said she understood, but would have to call the audio tour company and see if they would remove the use and re-do it for that day. She put me on hold, but wasn't able to get in touch with anyone there. She said she left a message and would let me know as soon as it was resolved. I was trying to figure out what to do, but within 20 minutes, I had an email, a text, and a call telling me that they had issued a new pass, and all was well. Whew!!
I made the reservations for our tours and attractions several weeks before our trip, so we had no trouble getting everything we wanted, and all of the tours that we did with the Go City pass were well-run and fun. We had a great time, and although we probably wouldn't have done as many things, with the number of things we did through the pass, it was a good deal. We also made friends on some of the tours that we saw on and off again throughout the week!
