GoCar 3Hr Tour: Point Loma Adventure

Overview

You will make your way from beautiful Little Italy, into San Diego’s Old Town where you get a small flair of western and Mexican culture mixed together. From Old Town, you will make your way into Point Loma towards Liberty Station which used to be the Naval Training Center of San Diego, when the training center closed in 1997 it was repurposed into a mixed used development with housing, recreational centers, business, hotels, and a few schools.

From Liberty Station, you will make your way to Shelter Island which gives you a great view of the Attack Submarine base. Making your way to Cabrillo National Monument and the Point Loma ecological preserve, you will see the old lighthouse that stood watch on the rocky shores and light up the dangerous waterways for many sailors and fishermen. As you finish your tour you will pass the always romantic Sunset Cliffs and into the eccentric Ocean Beach community.

We stopped at Point Loma, parked the car, and left to take pictures. When we came back the car had slid and hit another vehicle on its own. Because of the faulty parking break we lost half of our tour. We asked for a refund or partial refund for the time we didn’t get to do and they refused. They basically said we were lying and will not refund us. Please save your money and don’t use their faulty vehicles.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to take a GoCar tour. After your tour, we did take the time to have an outside service inspect the car and they found the parking brake working great. Since the brake was found to be working perfectly it could be possible that the brake just was never set when you stopped. In our safety briefing, we also state not to park on hills just in case this happens or the wheels weren't curbed. We appreciate all our customers and want to assure you that our vehicles are inspected frequently to ensure safety.

The military sectors were plesent and beautiful, just beware the yellow go cars are really small and fast, if you're tall, try the $15 up grade to the much bigger faster and Electric models

We had a fantastic time! Lots to see. The cars were fun and worked perfectly!! Would do this again!! The staff member was friendly and knowledgeable!
