Gold Rush - Guided Hiking & Gold Panning Tour

Overview

The historic and scenic Bradshaw Mountains are one of the richest gold-filled mountain ranges in the entire country, creating the perfect setting for our Gold Rush Hiking and Gold Panning Tour. Our tours create a scenic and educational journey amidst some of the most rugged landscapes Arizona has to offer, with opportunities to see giant saguaro cacti and abundant desert wildlife. You will be accompanied by a guide with vast knowledge of the local mining history and plant and animal life. The tour will begin with a scenic, moderately difficult hike from our property down to the Agua Fria River. The hike offers incredible views and plenty of opportunities for photos. Once at the river, we will spend some time panning for gold and learning about the history of gold mining here in the Bradshaw Mountains. You are welcome to keep your findings! We will then finish the tour out by making the hike back up the Agua Fria River canyon.

Anthony was super education and helpful. He was also a great photographer :) My husband was really wanting to do this tour and I was along for the ride, but I found it so relaxing and sitting in nature panning for gold is highly recommended (the other rocks are beautiful as well) I didn't strike major Gold so I could retire, but I take home a speck of gold and a memory to cherish for a lifetime!! Will definitely do it again!

Went on Spring break mid April 2022 from IL with our 14yr old and 12 year old. Great hike learned a lot. Panned we found Jasper, silver and our 12 year old for the win w/ Gold. Ryan and Jyronimo were fantastic. Thank you Ryan for tagging along in back with My husband who had hip surgery 4 months ago. We will definitely be back.
