Continue on Belardo rd passing by the O Donnel Golf Course to Old Las Palmas Neighborhood. pass by the American Legion the Catholic Church next we turn in to Old Las Palmas passing by by Liberace House, Clark Gable and Carole Lombards home Sammy Davis Jr Home, Kurt Russel and Goldie Hawns home, Leonardo Di Caprio Home, Kirk Douglas Home, Ronald Regans Home. we will see the Alexanders homes (modernism architect) Lily Tomlin's home and the go by the spot where Don the Beachcomer was and talk about the under ground tunnels. 25 minutes

Drove around the and saw where so many of the old movie stars lived for example Sammy Davis Jr. Dean Martin, Marilyn Monroe, Kirk Douglas( the house he raised his children in) We also stopped ina few restaurants for food and snacks.

This was a fun way to see the old town of Palm Springs. Our hosts were full of wonderful stories about the past and present. It was a bit cold and windy but our hosts had very plush blankets aboard to keep us warm. Plus, we stopped at 4 different cafes/restaurants for appetizers and drinks. All were delicious. This was the highlight of our trip and we recommend to everyone visiting Palm Desert.

We had a fantastic experience with Donnie and Kathy. The Golf Cart was a wonderful way to Tour. We even got to experience several local Restaurants. Their knowledge of the area was extensive and they shared a lot of fun facts. Thank you for a great day!
