I had asked a few friends, and read all the online reviews: Maverick was the company that stood out.
My primary feature is safety. And they were very safe. I didn't question that at any point.
My second feature was group size. We had 6 and I never felt crowded. We rotated seats so everyone got a chance up front.
It was a great, fun tour. Just the right amount of time. I always worry about needing to pee and I was easily able to get through the whole tour without needing to worry about a toilet (that may seem that TMI for some people but for fellow small bladder folk, this comment will be appreciated).
We stopped for a snack/picnic at one point. There were plenty of beverage options. I am celiac / gluten free , as was someone else on the tour and we didn't feel food excluded (As I often do). (I don't recall the food but it was fine.)
Great chance for amazing photos. And from the air, we saw animals.
Our guide was : JARED. He was perfect. Knew how to read the audience well. He flew the helicopter very steady , so a very low risk of motion sickness, even when it started to rain. He could read the area and avoid windy spots since he knows it so well. He pointed out all sorts of things and was very knowledgable about the area. And when there wasn't anything else "tour guide" style to talk about, he chats along so well. We all had headphones and could chat within the group easily when flying. It was nice.
