Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 300 lbs (136 kg or 21 stone) will be required to purchase an additional seat. This is payable directly to the tour operator on the day of the tour.
The total combined passenger weight (including pilot) cannot exceed 1240lbs (563kg)
There is a maximum capacity of seven (7) people per helicopter, plus your pilot.
Per FAA regulations, all passengers 18 years and older will be required to show photo ID such as a driver's license or passport at the time of check-in.

What To Expect

Lake Mead National Recreation Area

Experience the beauty of the Grand Canyon from the air and ground on this helicopter tour from Las Vegas. After being picked up from your hotel approx 90 minutes prior to the flight time listed, you'll be driven to the heliport where you’ll board your air-conditioned Eco-Star helicopter. On your way to the Grand Canyon’s West Rim, soar over Lake Las Vegas and Lake Mead.

Hoover Dam

As you fly over the Hoover Dam, you'll be left in awe at this particularly spectacular sight from the air, curved between the rock canyon walls. Marvel at this architectural wonder and enjoy the amazing views of the recently built bypass bridge. During your flight, you can listen to a recorded commentary about the Grand Canyon and its surrounds via headphones.

Grand Canyon West

As you reach the Grand Canyon and fly deeper and further into the canyon than any other helicopter tour, land on a private bluff overlooking the flowing Colorado River. From this incredible perch over 3,000 feet below the canyon rim, toast to your experience with a glass of Champagne and a light snack. While you celebrate and relax under an authentic Native American ramada shelter, your pilot will be happy to answer any questions you have about the canyon or your helicopter flight.

The Strip

Back in the helicopter, enjoy another 45-minute flight back to Las Vegas, this time flying over the world famous Strip. When you land, your transportation will be waiting to whisk you back to your hotel. Please note: Per FAA regulations, all passengers 18 years and older will be required to show photo ID such as a driver's license or passport at the time of check-in.

We did the 7am flight to Grand Canyon, we crossed the hoover dam & stopped for champagne breakfast. Wow! No words for the Grand Canyon it is just amazing. Our pilot duwayne was so lovely, took all our photographs for us and was just a genuinely lovely guy. There was 7 in our helicopter including pilot, and we changed over 3 times so that everyone got to sit in the front. Plenty of drinks available, breakfast was a few muffins. A must do if your in Vegas!

The Grand Canyon is unbelievably awesome and taking a helicopter tour from Maverick is the perfect way to experience it. They are consummate professionals. Everything was very smooth. From our hotel pick and drop off, to the checkin, to the flight itself. Kyle was a great pilot who gave a smooth flight and kept us informed about what we were seeing. The time spent on the West rim was mind blowing. The champagne and snacks were fine. We were worried about motion sickness but had no problems at all. Wherever you sit in the helicopter, you'll have a great view.

A friend recommended this experience to my husband and me. Husband was hesitant, but I was going regardless :) We opted for the 7am flight because it was cooler and they offered a little discount for the early time. The pick-up process was a breeze from our hotel. Staff at the airport were professional and helpful answering any questions we had. We were in a group with two other couples on the helicopter. Matt, our pilot, was not only an amazing pilot, but he was also exceptionally professional, courteous, and had a great playlist for when he wasn't communicating with us via headset. Flight time from the airport to the Grand Canyon was about 45 minutes. Once there we had about twenty minutes to eat a snack breakfast, take photos, and walk around. The return trip, even with a fuel stop, lasted about half an hour. One thing that impressed the most wast he attention to detail Matt showed. While in the canyon, Matt cleaned bug guts off the windows on the helicopter. Book the trip. Make the memories. You won't regret it (even if you realize 12 minutes in you have a far of heights).
