Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 300 lbs (136 kg or 21 stone) will be required to purchase an additional seat. This is payable directly to the tour operator on the day of the tour.

What To Expect

Lake Mead National Recreation Area

Experience the beauty of the Grand Canyon from the air and ground on this helicopter tour from Las Vegas. After being picked up from your hotel approx 90 minutes prior to the flight time listed, you'll be driven to the heliport where you’ll board your air-conditioned Eco-Star helicopter. On your way to the Grand Canyon’s West Rim, soar over Lake Las Vegas and Lake Mead.

Hoover Dam

As you fly over the Hoover Dam, you'll be left in awe at this particularly spectacular sight from the air, curved between the rock canyon walls. Marvel at this architectural wonder and enjoy the amazing views of the recently built bypass bridge. During your flight, you can listen to a recorded commentary about the Grand Canyon and its surrounds via headphones.

Grand Canyon West

As you reach the Grand Canyon and fly deeper and further into the canyon than any other helicopter tour, land on a private bluff overlooking the flowing Colorado River. From this incredible perch over 3,000 feet below the canyon rim, toast to your experience with a glass of Champagne and a light snack. While you celebrate and relax under an authentic Native American ramada shelter, your pilot will be happy to answer any questions you have about the canyon or your helicopter flight.

The Strip

Back in the helicopter, enjoy another 45-minute flight back to Las Vegas, this time flying over the world famous Strip. When you land, your transportation will be waiting to whisk you back to your hotel. Please note: Per FAA regulations, all passengers 18 years and older will be required to show photo ID such as a driver's license or passport at the time of check-in.

So very the perfect 5 stars to end our last 3rd nights in Vegas with most looking forward experiences on the Helicopter ride. Maverick really made our wishers came through. BIG Thank You to our pilot (photo included) he made the efforts to served our lunch beside being a knowledgeable as he is to be.

My wife and I visited in may and everything went perfectly The bus picked us up at the luxor on time We were taken to the airport into the bright and airy reception We were weighed as we're checked in (we expected this as we were advised beforehand it would happen) and allocated a group number. There were six of us on the flight and we were lucky enough to sit in the front for the outbound journey Our pilot was Jake He was friendly and kept us informed during the flight of things to look out for, points of interest and when we would feel lumps and bumps due to the wind It was my first helicopter flight and was much smoother than I expected The pass over Hoover dam was spectacular It's difficult to imagine the size of the dam and fascinating to see how far the water level had dropped in the last ten years or so Then on to the grand canyon As we approached Jake put some dramatic music on over the headsets and it was absolutely breathtaking We were allowed to land next to the river and stopped for a snack and a champagne It was so quiet and quite awe inspiring We stayed about 25 minutes before heading back On the return journey another couple sat in the front As we approached Vegas Jake pointed out the geological formations caused by earthquakes And as we came into Vegas Jake flew along Fremont St. And the strip We were on the right hand side and the view was poor coming back into Vegas but I wasn't particularly concerned the views of the canyon the dam and the geology were more than enough We got back to the reception and there were mementos of the trip We bought the plaque which cost $35 This was a fantastic trip Maverick were professional and well organised Jake was friendly and approachable And I would highly recommend it

We had been recommended Maverick by one of our friends and we were not disappointed. The pick up was from the front of our hotel, the transport was on time and comfortable. We arrived at the departure lounge, were we received the safety tried and met our pilot. The pilot was very professional and kept us informed on the flight around. We landed on a platform for half an hour and were given a selection of cakes on a first come first served basis. Champagne was served in plastic picnic cups and if you wished for a second glass and there was some left in the bottle you could. The thing to note is that there are no toilets so you would't wish to fill your bladder, as you have to last the return journey. A great experience and I would definitely recommend this company.
