Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 300 lbs (136 kg or 21 stone) will be required to purchase an additional seat. This is payable directly to the tour operator on the day of the tour.
The total combined passenger weight (including pilot) cannot exceed 1240lbs (563kg)
There is a maximum capacity of seven (7) people per helicopter, plus your pilot.

What To Expect

Lake Mead National Recreation Area

Experience the beauty of the Grand Canyon from the air and ground on this helicopter tour from Las Vegas. After being picked up from your hotel approx 90 minutes prior to the flight time listed, you'll be driven to the heliport where you’ll board your air-conditioned Eco-Star helicopter. On your way to the Grand Canyon’s West Rim, soar over Lake Las Vegas and Lake Mead.

Hoover Dam

As you fly over the Hoover Dam, you'll be left in awe at this particularly spectacular sight from the air, curved between the rock canyon walls. Marvel at this architectural wonder and enjoy the amazing views of the recently built bypass bridge. During your flight, you can listen to a recorded commentary about the Grand Canyon and its surrounds via headphones.

Grand Canyon West

As you reach the Grand Canyon and fly deeper and further into the canyon than any other helicopter tour, land on a private bluff overlooking the flowing Colorado River. From this incredible perch over 3,000 feet below the canyon rim, toast to your experience with a glass of Champagne and a light snack. While you celebrate and relax under an authentic Native American ramada shelter, your pilot will be happy to answer any questions you have about the canyon or your helicopter flight.

The Strip

Back in the helicopter, enjoy another 45-minute flight back to Las Vegas, this time flying over the world famous Strip. When you land, your transportation will be waiting to whisk you back to your hotel. Please note: Per FAA regulations, all passengers 18 years and older will be required to show photo ID such as a driver's license or passport at the time of check-in.

Did this trip with 4 friends and found it totally awesome. Our pilot, Brian was knowledgable and gave us lots of interesting info on the trip. He ensured we all had front seats at some point but views were good where ever we sat. The champagne and snacks were delicious and nicely set out - there was even a little checked table cloth! .Landng in the Grand Canyon was amazing and gave a totally different perspective to being up on the ridge. I would highly recommend this trip

We are very happy to have chosen the services by maverick Helicopters, after many reviews online and by locals. We were picked up from our hotel in a lovely mini bus and we then had a briefing of what was happening etc and safety. We flew over the Hoover Dam on our way to the Grand Canyon. The sights are amazing and unreal. Even my husband who doesn't like heights found this experience very special. We landed on the south rim of the canyon, had a snack and champagne. We then boarded the helicopter and flew back, with a little stop to fuel. Really can’t recommend this fantastic company enough. Our guide Tyler made sure to bring us there and back safely. On the way back, it was getting hot in the front middle seat, making me a bit nauseous. As soon as he noticed, he put the air on and directed it my way. Thanks as I was able to continue the trip without a problem. This is a must do!

It was my daughter's 25th birthday and she had never been to Las Vegas, so my wife and I took her along to celebrate. I had never been to the Grand Canyon and it was on my bucket list to things I always wanted to do. I looked at online reviews of helicopter tours and select Maverick which I'm very glad we picked. You might be hesitant on doing the tour as it's a bit expensive but once you see Maverick's operation, ECO-Star EC-130 helicopters, and quality of tour staff you'll understand what makes up the price. We did the Indian Territory tour and very glad we did. Pickup / Drop-off at our hotel went smooth, on time departure from LAS from their own private terminal. Our pilot's name was Scott, very professional, polite and friendly! We flew past the Vegas strip outbound and inbound, great views of Lake Las Vegas, Lake Meade, the Mike O'Callaghan - Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, the Hoover Dam, finally landing in the Grand Canyon basin, then a second landing at Guano Point, breathtaking 360-degree views, along with lunch outside, you spend 2-hours here at your own leisure, then fly back to Vegas. I rate this as a top three lifetime bucket list experience! I'm so glad we did this tour with Maverick!
