Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 300 lbs (136 kg or 21 stone) will be required to purchase an additional seat. This is payable directly to the tour operator on the day of the tour.
The total combined passenger weight (including pilot) cannot exceed 1240lbs (563kg)
There is a maximum capacity of seven (7) people per helicopter, plus your pilot.

What To Expect

Lake Mead National Recreation Area

Experience the beauty of the Grand Canyon from the air and ground on this helicopter tour from Las Vegas. After being picked up from your hotel approx 90 minutes prior to the flight time listed, you'll be driven to the heliport where you’ll board your air-conditioned Eco-Star helicopter. On your way to the Grand Canyon’s West Rim, soar over Lake Las Vegas and Lake Mead.

Hoover Dam

As you fly over the Hoover Dam, you'll be left in awe at this particularly spectacular sight from the air, curved between the rock canyon walls. Marvel at this architectural wonder and enjoy the amazing views of the recently built bypass bridge. During your flight, you can listen to a recorded commentary about the Grand Canyon and its surrounds via headphones.

Grand Canyon West

As you reach the Grand Canyon and fly deeper and further into the canyon than any other helicopter tour, land on a private bluff overlooking the flowing Colorado River. From this incredible perch over 3,000 feet below the canyon rim, toast to your experience with a glass of Champagne and a light snack. While you celebrate and relax under an authentic Native American ramada shelter, your pilot will be happy to answer any questions you have about the canyon or your helicopter flight.

The Strip

Back in the helicopter, enjoy another 45-minute flight back to Las Vegas, this time flying over the world famous Strip. When you land, your transportation will be waiting to whisk you back to your hotel. Please note: Per FAA regulations, all passengers 18 years and older will be required to show photo ID such as a driver's license or passport at the time of check-in.

My family did the flight in early January 2019 from Vegas to the West Rim and landed in the Canyon for bubbly and snacks. On the return to Vegas they stop at a fuel stop in the middle of no where. We got to see our first Joshua tree at the fuel stop. The weather was perfect with clear blue skies which helped the experience. The view coming into the Canyon was spectacular and when you land you appreciate the enormity of the Canyon. Flew over the Hoover Dam on the way and got a good look at it. Maverick fly their choppers in a group, there were 8 of them I think in our group. Very professional pilots, the whole process with ground staff and pilots was flawless. We felt very safe and in good hands. For Australians the price is high due to our weak $AUD, for three of us it was AUD$2,050 and thus a splurge. It is something worth splurging on. Highly recommended.

We did the grand canyon landing tour with a champagne picnic, was amazing from start to finish. Our pilot Travis was amazing and very informative, with great taste in music. This is a must do for anybody visiting Las Vegas, and definitely worth the money

We were collected from our hotel on time by the shuttle and delivered without hassle to the Air Strip. After a short wait we were off.Our pilot Scott kept us safe and provided us with lots of interesting facts about the Dam and the surrounding area on the way to and from the canyon. The trip there and back was amazing but landing in the canyon was the "best" as it really brought home the scale of the place. Well worth the money as we were on a tight schedule and wanted to get into the canyon itself.
