Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 300 lbs (136 kg or 21 stone) will be required to purchase an additional seat. This is payable directly to the tour operator on the day of the tour.
The total combined passenger weight (including pilot) cannot exceed 1240lbs (563kg)
There is a maximum capacity of seven (7) people per helicopter, plus your pilot.

What To Expect

Lake Mead National Recreation Area

Experience the beauty of the Grand Canyon from the air and ground on this helicopter tour from Las Vegas. After being picked up from your hotel approx 90 minutes prior to the flight time listed, you'll be driven to the heliport where you’ll board your air-conditioned Eco-Star helicopter. On your way to the Grand Canyon’s West Rim, soar over Lake Las Vegas and Lake Mead.

Hoover Dam

As you fly over the Hoover Dam, you'll be left in awe at this particularly spectacular sight from the air, curved between the rock canyon walls. Marvel at this architectural wonder and enjoy the amazing views of the recently built bypass bridge. During your flight, you can listen to a recorded commentary about the Grand Canyon and its surrounds via headphones.

Grand Canyon West

As you reach the Grand Canyon and fly deeper and further into the canyon than any other helicopter tour, land on a private bluff overlooking the flowing Colorado River. From this incredible perch over 3,000 feet below the canyon rim, toast to your experience with a glass of Champagne and a light snack. While you celebrate and relax under an authentic Native American ramada shelter, your pilot will be happy to answer any questions you have about the canyon or your helicopter flight.

The Strip

Back in the helicopter, enjoy another 45-minute flight back to Las Vegas, this time flying over the world famous Strip. When you land, your transportation will be waiting to whisk you back to your hotel. Please note: Per FAA regulations, all passengers 18 years and older will be required to show photo ID such as a driver's license or passport at the time of check-in.

I have never been in a helicopter and was apprehensive about the experience, however, Hank our pilot is a legend. Maverick helicopters are lucky to have such a great pilot on their team. The flight was very smooth and he was very knowledgeable about the local area including the Hoover dam and the canyon. The actual tour part is amazing. Seeing the dam from the air and the canyon is spectacular. I was concerned about views if you have the middle seats at the back, however there is no need to worry, the vision in incredible no matter where you sit. You also get rotated at each stop so there is a very good chance you will get to sit in front at some point. Worth the money. Great experience, will never forget it. Thanks Maverick and Hank.

The whole experience was excellent from start to finish! The building itself gives you a feeling of professionalism and service ! The helicopter was nice and comfortable which was also helped by there only being 4 of us on it. In the back, going to the Grand Canyon was great as helicopter Virgins. Even in the back there it's more than ample amazing views. Time on the ground on the Canyon bed was just right at about half an hour. Going back, sitting in the front was amazing. Incredible views of incredible scenery. Our pilot was Forrest who was amiable, knowledgeable and professional. He was a great wealth of knowledge as we as such a nice guy.

Booked this a few month in advance of our Las Vegas trip, picked the 9am flight, we were picked up from our hotel at 7:20am There were 4 seats in the back of the chopper, 2 in the front, plus the pilot, what I thought was good is that everyone gets to ride in the front at some point during the flight. Beautiful day, amazing flight! Flew over lake mead & hoover dam, then stopped in the Grand Canyon for 30 mins for champagne, snacks, photos, our pilot said April was a nice time to do this trip, in July / August it can be a little too hot. Personally, with only having 3 days in Las Vegas & then traveling onto Cancun, I wouldn’t have wanted to take the coach tour, so this was the best option for us & it did not disappoint! 100% recommend Maverick Helicopters! Amazing experience!
