Overview

Enjoy your gorgeous ride up to the Grand Canyon in a comfortable touring van. You will have no more than 7 guests total on your hiking excursion. Experience the immensity of the Grand Canyon during a day hike tour from Sedona. Many people observe the Grand Canyon only from above, standing on the rim for a few photo ops, but this tour allows you to discover the deeper nooks and crannies of the 1.2-million acre UNESCO World Heritage site and US national park. With an experienced guide, you'll take a 3- to 5-mile (5- to 8-km) hike into the canyon to admire its incredible landscape from many perspectives. Hike is limited to seven participants.

Must be able to hike 3-5 miles, with elevation changes of 1,500 feet approximately.
Maximum number of passengers is six per hiking guide

Ty took us on a day trip tour to the Grand Canyon. He was an inspiring delight and was able to help not only my husband and I negotiate the trails, but also our energetic 8 year old daughter, Heidi. He gave us lots of information along our drive and our hike down the Kaibob trail from the South Rim. He explained the rock formations as well as various desert flora and fauna species - which was all new to us coming from the Northeast. He was warm, friendly and very responsive to our needs throughout the day including snack breaks, shade breaks, last minute gift shop runs! He even played ” guess that animal” to keep my daughter engaged on the long drive back in to Sedona. He gave us good tips on where to hike in Sedona the next day. After our time with Ty we found ourselves looking for shells in rocks, just like he had showed us in the Grand Canyon. We highly recommend Ty for your tour needs, especially if you have kids!! Thank you so much for making a lifetime memory for our family Ty!
