Overview

Currently the Park Service is not allowing us to mix groups due to COVID-19 safety procedures, so we are unable to provide this tour for less than 4 people. If you have a smaller group, please reach out to our company directly to discuss other options. By far our most popular hiking tour, this hike and sightseeing tour offers guests varying views of the Canyon, from the inside out. This tour is for guests who want to enjoy an excellent tour of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, but also spend some time below the Rim.

Enjoy a great tour with a knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic guide who loves what they do. We provide door-to-door service from your stay place with everything you need to have a great time. Grab your camera and leave the lunch, snacks, beverages, hiking equipment, and driving to us! We pick up in the following towns: Flagstaff, Williams, Tusayan, and Grand Canyon.

What To Expect

Yavapai Point

We start the day with a viewpoint where your guide will give a hiking orientation.

South Kaibab Trail

The hiking portion of this tour will traverse 3/4 of a mile down the South Kaibab to Ooh Aah Point and then go back up the same way you came. Weather and crowd permitting you will enjoy a picnic lunch at the viewpoint. This delicious lunch is made by Brandy's restaurant the morning of your tour. All your gear, such as backpacks and trekking poles is provided.

Grand Canyon South Rim

The rest of the day is spent traveling to various viewpoints along the South Rim in a comfortable air conditioned van or SUV. At each viewpoint we will exit the vehicle and your guide will spend time showing you views through the provided spotting scope and regale you with interpretation that includes information about the plants, animals, peoples, history, and archaeology of the Grand Canyon. The viewpoints included depend on weather, time of year, crowds, and guide preference. They may include, but are not limited to: Mather Point, Grandview Point, Moran Point, Tusayan Ruins, and Desert View Watchtower.

My son, grandsons and I went on a 3-day trek, hiking to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, camping at the bottom for two nights, and hiking out. It was a great experience, made even better by All-Star Grand Canyon Tours. Our guide was excellent and All-Star provided everything we needed. They provided backpacks, tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads and all the food needed for the trek. The guide was knowledgeable about the Canyon and took care of all the cooking and clean up. From the planning, to preparing the menu, to guiding us in and out of the Grand Canyon, All-Star Grand Canyon Tours did a first-class job. I would recommend All-Star to anyone who wants a memorable adventure in the Grand Canyon.

We had a wonderful full day experience with All Star Grand Canyon Tours. Andrew was an exceptional guide. He was knowledgeable, personable, and flexible. We are a group of 6 “ over 60s” .He designed a day of hiking and vista viewing that was a perfect balance of activity and scenic beauty. We enjoyed a seamless immersive experience that included a delicious gourmet picnic lunch along the rim and a beautiful sunset ending with wine and cheese, It was the best way to experience such a natural wonder!

We were fortunate enough to have been gifted a private full day hike and tour of the Grand Canyon with All Star Grand Canyon Tours. What an incredible experience it was! Andrew our guide was amazing, his knowledge of the Canyon Terrain and the history of the southwest was remarkable. Andrew went out of his way to ensure that our day was everything we had hope for. He was attentive to our needs concerns and comforts all while ensure the level of challenge we were looking for . Looking back on our day we realize the Canyon never disappoints and Andrew made our day perfect we would highly recommend him.
