The train can accommodate a motorized scooter if it is no wider than 25 inches. There is a special lift to lift the scooter onto the train.

We have a great time taking the train to the Grand Canyon and we would highly recommend it to anyone who is planning a trip. We booked the first class car and it was well worth the money. The train staff was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. The entertainment helped to pass the time to and from the canyon. Overall a fabulous experience!

The trip was a fun experience and a unique way to visit the Grand Canyon. The railway personnel were friendly and entertaining, making the train ride enjoyable along with the scenery.

Instead of driving to the south rim, this train departs from Williams and provides a relaxing ride to the Grand Canyon park dropping you right at the heart of lodging, food and the amazing scenery. With entertainment before the train departs and strolling musicians on board during the ride up and back, this provides a different approach to the drive by car into the park. Parking in Williams is plentiful, where in the park that can be a problem with full lots. Different packages and plans are available for travel, same day and overnight. Worth a try for a different perspective on travel.
