2
Grand Canyon Village
This section of the park contains a number of historic buildings, the Grand Canyon Railway Station, shops and restaurants.
3
Yavapai Point
This vista is the most expansive view of Grand Canyon and is home to Herbert Maier's historic Yavapai Observation Station.
4
Mather Point
This viewing area is quite extensive - the point has two narrow, railed overlooks built on projecting rocks and is near the Visitor Center.
5
Grandview Point
This viewpoint, developed in 1892 by Pete Berry as a copper mining operation, was an original destination for Grand Canyon tours. This view point is reached by a one mile side road, that juts out on a peninsula providing expansive views of the Grand Canyon.
6
Lipan Point
This viewpoint offers far reaching views along a wide section of the Grand Canyon, approximately between river miles 87 and 72. The point is due south of Cape Royal on the North Rim.
7
Tusayan Ruins and Museum
The Tusayan Ruins and Museum are excellent places to take a glimpse into the lives of the native peoples of the region. * This is typically where we enjoy our picnic lunch.
8
Lipan Point
This vista has the best view of the Colorado River on our Daily Grand Canyon Tour, and is a favorite stop for our guides as well as guests.
9
Grand Canyon Desert View Watchtower
This is the easternmost viewpoint at Grand Canyon National Park and home to Mary Colter's historic Desert View Watchtower. The tower was built in 1932, right on the cliff edge and visible for many miles across this part of the Canyon.
10
Cameron Trading Post
This is our last stop of the day on the Navajo reservation. It gives our guests a chance to shop and support the native people of the area. This is a brief stop, and not the main focus of the tour.

Wow! We just returned from a great, first time tour to the Grand Canyon. The tour guide made this tour for us. If you want a tour guide that is knowledgeable, intelligent, and well informed about the Grand Canyon and surrounding area, ask for Aaron Murphy, of All Star Grand Canyon Tours. We have been on many tours before, as we are retired and traveling around and this was by far the best we have been on. If we were to return to Flagstaff, we would request the young man we mentioned. Friendly, courteous and caring, Aaron takes his job seriously and will not disappoint, he is a definite asset to this company. Additionally, we had a picnic lunch prepared by Brandi's restaurant and it was good quality, delicious and filling food. They also provide snacks and beverages to and from your pick up and drop off location. Overall, absolutely five stars. I learned so much today and enjoyed myself immensely.Than you, Aaron Murphy.

cdrfil1957, Thank you for the nice review about Aaron, and we completely agree with you! On top of being an asset, he is also my brother and I feel fortunate to be able to work with my family. My wife Cari and I thank you for choosing our family owned company, we certainly appreciate the business.

We chose this tour based on reviews and it was even better than expected. Our tour guide, Molly, picked us up promptly at our hotel. She made a point of learning our names, introducing us to each other and using our names throughout the tour. The ride to the canyon takes about 90 minutes and Molly shared interesting facts about the area for most of the trip. We learned quite a bit about the terrain and history and about living in that part of AZ. such as truly live off the grid! Once in the GC Molly briefly showed us the Village, the main visitor site, and we appreciated that we would be avoiding the area. After researching a trip to the GC there were several areas which I had targeted ; they were all on the tour. Molly is quite knowledgeable about the canyon having offered hiking tours and hiking it herself numerous times. At each site she set up a scope and pointed out numerous sites which we would have totally missed with the aid of the scope and a knowledgeable guide. This greatly enhanced our trip. She allowed ample time at each site and took photos upon request. (Several times offering to take a few ā€œdramaticā€ photos) She was very conscious of the need for regular bathroom breaks. There was a large supply of sweet and salty snacks along with water and sodas readily available on the tour bus (which is quite comfortable) The lunch was simply delicious. Sandwiches were freshly made on homemade bread with generous portions of meat and cheese. She nicely displayed a fresh fruit plate along with fresh sandwich trimmings which included avocados. The only down side to the lunch were the bees, which seemed to know just when the food was put out on the table. There was also a homemade pasta salad and scrumptious dressing(leftovers ours to take!) Honestly, we were so full from lunch that our dinner plans changed to something very light. The canyon is breathtakingly beautiful and Molly seemed to appreciate it’s beauty anew with each visit, which enhanced our visit also. On the ride back we stopped at a Navajo stand which proved to be nicer than the expected tourist trap. Respecting that we were a bit tired after the day in the canyon Molly was quiet on the drive back but freely answered any and all of our questions about the canyon or sites along the road back to Flagstaff.
