What To Expect
1
Double Eagle Trading Company
A quick optional stop at the trading post for a bathroom break (optional)
2
Grand Canyon Village
This section of the park contains a number of historic buildings, the Grand Canyon Railway Station, shops and restaurants.
3
Yavapai Point
This vista is the most expansive view of Grand Canyon and is home to Herbert Maier's historic Yavapai Observation Station.
4
Mather Point
This viewing area is quite extensive - the point has two narrow, railed overlooks built on projecting rocks and is near the Visitor Center.
5
Grandview Point
This viewpoint, developed in 1892 by Pete Berry as a copper mining operation, was an original destination for Grand Canyon tours. This view point is reached by a one mile side road, that juts out on a peninsula providing expansive views of the Grand Canyon.
6
Moran Point
This viewpoint offers far reaching views along a wide section of the Grand Canyon, approximately between river miles 87 and 72. The point is due south of Cape Royal on the North Rim.
7
Tusayan Ruins and Museum
The Tusayan Ruins and Museum are excellent places to take a glimpse into the lives of the native peoples of the region. * This is typically where we enjoy our picnic lunch.
8
Lipan Point
This vista has the best view of the Colorado River on our Daily Grand Canyon Tour, and is a favorite stop for our guides as well as guests.
9
Grand Canyon Desert View Watchtower
This is the easternmost viewpoint at Grand Canyon National Park and home to Mary Colter's historic Desert View Watchtower. The tower was built in 1932, right on the cliff edge and visible for many miles across this part of the Canyon.
10
Cameron Trading Post
This is our last stop of the day on the Navajo reservation. It gives our guests a chance to shop and support the native people of the area. This is a brief stop, and not the main focus of the tour.

Our group of four had an all day tour from Sedona with Mike and from previous reviews expected a wonderful day. The reality was far beyond the expectation. Mike is a wonderful guide, taking us to prime locations, setting his scope to sites we never would have seen. His has a wealth of knowledge that he shares. We met a guide in the morning and said goodbye to a friend in the evening after a wonderful day in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Rather than explore what we had never seen by ourselves on our only day in Flagstaff, we booked the guided tour. Best decision we could have made!! We were picked up in a beautifully appointed smaller vehicle at our hotel by Rachel, the perfect tour guide. The van was stocked with water, drinks and snacks. The drive to and from the Canyon was filled with interest and facts we would never have known otherwise. She knew exactly where to take us for the best views, the maximum use of the time, a wonderful lunch. She carried a spotting scope so we could see boats on the river way below and other things beyond what the eye could pick up. The Canyon from the southern side is spectacular. The cloudless weather helped. And Rachel was perfect in her role - we felt we missed nothing and her energy, spark and knowledge made it one of those "forever" days. THANK YOU.

We decided to book the tour based on the reviews. The process was smooth as far as booking, communication and pick up. Our tour guide was Mikey and he helped to make the experience so much better. Although being professional and well versed in all aspects of the Canyon at the same time he was pleasant, personable and had our interests on his radar the entire day. The stops were comprehensive and I felt as though we saw the best there was to see without going into the canyon he even had a spotting scope that he could dial in and allowed us to feel like we were inside the canyon. I actually felt sorry for all the people we saw without an ASCT guide that were "winging it" and visiting on their own. In addition going without a guide depending on when you go, you're going to be challenged with parking, and crowds. A tip, call ahead and ask for suggestions on foot wear and out door clothing for the trip.
