What To Expect

Grand Canyon South Rim

After arriving by bus at the Grand Canyon National Park's South Rim, your tour guide will brief you on the highlights of the Grand Canyon so you can make the most of your time here. You will have three (3) hours of free time to explore this wonder of the world at your own pace. Your deli-style lunch can be taken with you to enjoy at one of the lookout points.

Although it is a long day with coach travel, it was a great day that was enjoyed by all. The driver was friendly, funny and knowledgeable. Gave us loads of interesting information about places we were passing by. Also got to stop at a town on Route 66 for some photos and again at Hoover Dam. Finally reaching the canyon, we stopped at two points for different views of the canyon. Food was provided and enough restroom stops were given. Thank you for a great experience and tour!

We had a fantastic day visiting the South Rim of the Grand Canyon with Sweetours. They exceeded our expectations all thanks to our guide Wally. Wally was informative and engaging on drive to the canyon, as were the educational videos played. We had a quick stop at Hoover dam, a travel stop and Route 66. The breakfast and lunch boxes were plentiful and yum. I enjoyed the introduction to the canyon given by Wally and it made our experience even better. We were given a map and recommended options to get the best out of the 3 free hours to explore the canyon. This enabled us to explore at our own pace and marvel at its beauty. 3 hours was enough to take plenty of photos and rest stops to gaze into the canyon, and have a leisurely walk along the South Rim trail. The drive back felt long but went quickly thanks to entertaining and funny movies played. I could not recommend this tour enough. We had a fantastic day. Thanks again Wally!
