What To Expect

Grand Canyon South Rim

After arriving by bus at the Grand Canyon National Park's South Rim, your tour guide will brief you on the highlights of the Grand Canyon so you can make the most of your time here. You will have three (3) hours of free time to explore this wonder of the world at your own pace. Your deli-style lunch can be taken with you to enjoy at one of the lookout points.

We had a trip to the Grand Canyon. The bus was nice but the best part was the driver Wally. He was so knowledgeable on all the things on the way to the Grand Canyon and was such a nice person. Very helpful. Despite just being our tour guide, he was one of those people who leave a lasting impression. Best tour guide ever, highly recommend.

I would not recommend this trip if you want to spend a long time exploring the canyon and take hikes that descend. It is however an excellent option if you only have one day to see the canyon. The bus was quite comfortable and our tour guide was amazing! She was very polite, spoke with a very pleasant voice and was great at keeping people organized and back on time. The ride is very long, but well worth it. We had about 3 hours to explore the canyon. We were able to comfortably complete the hike around the rim (around 5 km) with my 64 year old mother. We also quickly visited Hoover Dam, but note you only spend 15-20 minutes there. I also would like to commend the staff for their help, because I forgot my prescription glasses in the bus and they took care of sending them back to my home town in Canada.

The views of the Grand Canyon are just stunning. The tour from Vegas was wonderful, and our driver (Mally) was great.
