What To Expect

Grand Canyon South Rim

After arriving by bus at the Grand Canyon National Park's South Rim, your tour guide will brief you on the highlights of the Grand Canyon so you can make the most of your time here. You will have three (3) hours of free time to explore this wonder of the world at your own pace. Your deli-style lunch can be taken with you to enjoy at one of the lookout points.

My friend and I had been looking forward to the Grand Canyon South Rim Day Tour for months and the Tour exceeded our expectations in all aspects. The Grand Canyon was a given - truly spectacular and "grand"; the Hoover Dam stopover was an added bonus as we weren't sure that it was included - just enough time and history was provided by our tour guide and bus driver, Roy; we loved the stop at the Route 66 gift shop - full of characters including some equine ones (maybe it was just being at the right place at the right time). The breakfast, lunch and unlimited water provided throughout the Tour was wonderful and so appreciated, as were the stopovers for bathroom breaks and to pick up additional snacks/dinner as desired. The best part of the Tour was our Guide/Driver, Roy who was full of helpful and interesting information. What a wonderful, caring man!! Roy also surprised us by playing two interesting documentary films (one on Hoover Dam and the other, "Chasing Ice") as well as three movies to help us pass the time during our long bus ride to/from Vegas. We cannot say enough good things about this "sweet tour" and thank you all at SweetTours for delivering on a tour we'll never forget! Highly recommend this tour and tour company to anyone thinking of visiting the Grand Canyon. You'll get so much more than just the Canyon!

Wally the driver was great, a living enciclopedia of the Grand Canyon. The breakfast snacks and the box lunch was a great too.

My wife and I had an amazing day to the Grand Canyon South Rim. It was a long day, we were picked up at our hotel the Cosmopolitan at 6:30(ish) and didn't get back until 11:30. Wally really did make the day - he was extremely knowledgeable and very polite!! Surely he's the best driver they have!? All the food and water provided was excellent, great value for money. Well done everyone at Sweet Tours.
