Journey to one of the Seven Wonders of the World on this day tour from Las Vegas. After hotel pick-up from most hotels on the Strip, you'll head out to the beautiful South Rim for 3 hours. Your guide will provide you with some suggested itineraries to help maximize your time here. Tour operates on Mondays and Wednesdays only.

What To Expect

Grand Canyon South Rim

After arriving by bus at the Grand Canyon National Park's South Rim, your tour guide will brief you on the highlights of the Grand Canyon so you can make the most of your time here. You will have three (3) hours of free time to explore this wonder of the world at your own pace. Your deli-style lunch can be taken with you to enjoy at one of the lookout points.

On 12/28 my husband I took the South rim tour with Lorena. The day started great because she provided a lot of details of the sites we were visiting or driving through for the day. Once we finally made it the Grand Canyon, our time was limited because of a two hour delay to get into the park. Lorena maximized our time by giving additional time and recommendations of where to see the best views of the canyon. About 20 minutes after leaving the park, there was a horrific car accident. We were one car in front the vehicles impacted. Lorena took care of all of us even under those circumstances. We were not able to move for 2 hours. She tried to keep us entertained under the heavy circumstances. In addition, she made arrangements for a restaurant owner to open his shop so we can get a bite to eat late at night. She worked so hard to keep us safe and still kept giving us information on sites until the very end of our tour. I commend her for dedication to the people who board her bus. Many of us thanked for exceptional service. Also, she is a hero. She saved a lot lives during the Vegas shooting.

The trip was excellent. Sweetours was highly professional, on time, and Walter - our guide - was the best! He kept us well organized, entertained and very informative. The tour is an all-day tour - so don't plan anything that day. It is well worth it if you are in Vegas - it's a truly majestic work of nature. I recommend comfortable walking shoes and dress warm (if traveling in fall-winter) - it's very cold and windy up there.

Wally did a great job informing, entertaining, and driving us! Nice British accent and fun stories (about Las Vegas, Hoover dam, Grand Canyon).
